The Cumberland health department will allow churches to reopen Sunday for services. School and theatres will remain closed until November 4. Saloons, now required to close at 4:00 pm, may stay open until 6:00 pm starting next week. The ban has been lifted in the county and tomorrow all sections outside of Cumberland can resume regular conditions. Courts may also open on Monday but it hasn't been decided yet. County agent John McGill, jr., is afraid that the flu epidemic may affect next year's wheat crop as farmers weren't able to plant as much as they regularly do.Newspaper article
